Samantha Twigg Johnson: An accomplished artist, Samantha developed the SPARC (Sensitivity, Physicality, Artfulness, Repetition and Creativity) approach to arts therapy with older adults. She has successfully utilized this method in her work at Sunrise Assisted Living,the Black Pearl and the Hyde Park Neighborhood Club, all in Chicago, Illinois. Samantha is a Communications Specialist at the Field Museum of Chicago. She earned a Masters Degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Chicago in 2003 and graduated Magna cum Laude with a BA in Sociology and Anthropology and a Minor in Art from Swarthmore College. She has earned certificates in 16-mm film making (New York Film Academy) and in painting at the Studio Art Centers in Florence, Italy. Samantha served as an Art Instructor at Churchill College of Cambridge University in Cambridge, UK.
